What We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill in the snapshot form or the call request form, email us, or call us, we collect what you choose to share. The audit form asks for:

• Your business name
• Your name and your city
• Your main service
• Your website address
• Your email address
• Your phone number and the best time to call you
• Whether you agreed to be contacted by email, and by phone and text

If you email or call, we also keep what you tell us in that message or call. Form entries are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads. Google Analytics 4 records basic technical details about your visit: pages viewed, time on page, browser and device type, approximate location, and the site or search that sent you here. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies to do this. Google Ads uses this information to measure which ads lead to a form submission and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. When you submit a form, a hashed (scrambled, one-way) version of the email address or phone number you entered may be shared with Google to measure ad performance (Google calls this enhanced conversions). Google cannot read the original email or phone number from the hash.

How We Use It

• To prepare the snapshot you asked for, or to call you back as you asked
• To reply to your question or request
• To understand which pages, sources and ads bring in inquiries
• To improve this site

We contact you at the email address or phone number you give us. We do not sell your information. When you request a snapshot, you give us your phone number and tick two boxes: one agreeing that we can email you, and one agreeing that we can call and text you at that number, about your snapshot and our local SEO services. We record the date and time of each consent. You can withdraw either one at any time by replying STOP to a text, replying to any email, or writing to info@fortyorkdigital.com, and we stop contacting you that way.

Business Email

We send business-to-business email to businesses that may want our service. We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the US CAN-SPAM Act when we send these messages. Every message includes a way to opt out. If you opt out, we stop sending.

How We Share It

We share your information only with the service providers that run this site: website hosting (Cloudflare), form handling (FormSubmit), analytics and advertising (Google), and email. They may use the information only to provide those services.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies and Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads may not record your visit. You can also turn off personalized ads from Google at adssettings.google.com. The forms and the rest of the site still work.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

You can ask what information we hold about you. You can ask us to correct it or delete it. Email info@fortyorkdigital.com and we will respond. We may keep a record where the law requires it, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Retention

We keep audit requests and related email for as long as we are in contact with you about the service, and for up to two years after our last exchange. After that we delete them. Google Analytics 4 data is kept for the retention period set in that account, then deleted.

Children

This site is for business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
